MEET AMY YANDA-LEE
With 20+ years of diverse experience, Amy's decade-long commitment to the nonprofit sector showcases dynamic leadership and unwavering dedication to positive change and lasting impact. Her most cherished accomplishment is contributing to 50,000 women rising from deep poverty through their own hard work and resilience. In a unique blend of roles—executive leadership, operations, marketing, communications and partnerships—Amy has collaborated with the nonprofit sector and with major brands like Vail Resorts, Tehama, Izod and Shape Magazine. When introduced to mission-focused work, she committed wholeheartedly to her calling of creating transformative impact for people and the planet. Amy served as the COO of Street Business School (SBS) and Executive Director of BeadforLife, where her heart-centric and enthusiastic energy uplifted those she worked with, fostering meaningful change. Her
collaborative spirit spans continents, fostering openness domestically and across Africa, Asia and Latin America. Accolades include leading a campaign that earned the HERO Award, voted by 13 Nobel Peace Laureates, securing a feature in the New York Times by Nick Kristof, and leading outreach to recruit and train 200+ partners in 30+ countries via SBS. This comprehensive experience, coupled with her recent role as a Red Philanthropy Growth Strategist, fueled her passion for philanthropy and ignited a strong desire to further contribute to the sector. Amy is poised to leverage her expertise in creating positive change through impactful philanthropic endeavors, marking the next chapter in her career. When she's not working to change the world, Amy—devoted wife and mom of two exuberant boys—delights in skiing, yoga, hiking and losing herself in the pages of a good book.
